Colour correcting in the world of beauty is to make use of specific shades to cancel out another prevalent colour.

I have yellow undertones in my skin tone and that contributes to making my dark eye circles appearing slightly purple-blue. The best way to correct that is to make use of a yellow corrector. Yellow correctors work best to cancel out the purple-blue under your eyes generated by shadows or any dark /uneven patches. This shade of corrector is best suited for olive, medium or even tan skin tones for whom pink correctors just don’t make the cut. A fair skin tone might get away with it too. The L.A. Girl PRO Conceal HD Yellow Corrector is definitely yellow! More banana yellow. So what I like to do without it coming off too strong is to mix it with my concealer (creamy beige) and apply it as per my normal routine. This helps to tone down the yellow to suit my skin tone but without diminishing its correcting properties. You’re left with a brightened canvas afterwards.
