Canva Presentations - How to Add Transitions and PRESENT! // By the end of this tutorial you’ll have learnt how to add professional transitions to your Canva presentations.
➤ Canva Presentation Transitions
For free Canva account holders there are 7 different transitions that can be used when presenting slides; for Canva Pro account holders there are a further seven transitions.
When choosing which transition to use you should bear in mind your audience and what the subject matter is. You definitely should not be using transitions like 'Pop' and 'Neon' unless you're a teacher, for example, and presenting slides to a younger audience.
➤ Canva Presentation Modes
You’ll also have learn how to present your Canva slides using the three different modes of Canva ‘Present’ -
1️⃣ Canva Standard Present mode
2️⃣ Canva Automated Present mode
3️⃣ Canva Presenter View.
The Standard mode is perfect for presenting Canva slides to small groups and workshops. It's also incredibly easy to share Canva presentations online using tools like Zoom and Streamyard.
The ‘Automated’ mode is a little tricky but it’s always good to know how it works!
Canva ‘Presenter’ mode is ideal for larger conferences where you have the use of two screens.

ردحذفAutoplay is useful if you have a presentation running in the background. If you've got a booth somewhere and have a screen running unattended. Assuming Canva allows looping.

Hi Nicky: thank you so much for this presentation! It's very helpful. I was wondering if there is a way to time the animations with clicking rather than have it automatically appear on the slide? For instance if I wanted a block of text to come 15 seconds after the slide appeared?

ردحذفFor example in the first slide I have 3 benefits of my product and I wanna show it to my audience 1 benefit/explanation. After the first explanation has finished, I left click the slide and it shows the second benefit.
Can you still see your notes in standard view?
ردحذفHi Nicky, is there a way in Canva I can use an activate on click future to make elements appear on a slide? With PowerPoint, I might have three images on a slide that I wish to discuss, but I do not want them all appearing as the slide opens. So I have the animations set to appear on click...I can only figure here to create each transmission as a separate slide, do you have another solution?

ردحذفExcellent tips. Wow, you blew me away with Canva Live. I do a lot of Zoom calls and conferences. I'm going to experiment with this and see what use cases I can come up with. Are the comments always "anonymous?" Or does the user input their name or how can I identify them so I can engage with them?
