AN EASY TRICK TO CREATE AN OUTLINE AROUND YOUR TEXT (Canva Tutorial)
Here is a creative trick to outline text in Canva, whether you are a Canva free or a Canva pro user. Since the Canva editor doesn’t offer a simple button to do so (yet), Ronny tried out a few options and wanted to share with the best workaround he came up with.
Let’s be honest here, it might not be the quickest process, but it does a really decent job and will definitely make your visuals stand out. Creativity has no limits, right?

ردحذفCan you just create a copy, then make it slightly bigger? then Group it with the other one
ردحذفThanks for the video I use the solid colour font say black with a white shadow then duplicate then use the outline tool on the duplicate and colour the white then position on top not perfect but a lot quicker and works for me :)
ردحذفWhy doesn't canva just make a style of text like this, instead of having to do all this bullshit. Ain't no body got time for this lol
ردحذفIf u want a small outline, you can use Text 1 (Hollow effect) and put Text 2 on top of Text 1, that should create a small outline. For huge outlines, do this.

ردحذفWould it work if you typed the word inn2 font sizes then layered the smaller one on top of the larger one? Maybe each letter individually? I haven't tried but just an idea.

ردحذفI just used the Effects feature. The easiest way for me.
ردحذفI chose 'Splice' and adjusted the settings:
Thickness - up to you
Offset - 0
Direction - 0
Then worked on the color of the text and the other outline.
Or is it a different one?
In trying to recreate a flyer I originally made using Word on Canva, after spending a ridiculous amount of time watching tutorials, I realized all I had to do was copy my text, change the color, then go into Effects and choose "hollow". Then I moved that on top of my original text and there it was, exactly like my original flyer. It's pretty ridiculous that it's not an option, but this takes all of maybe 30 seconds.

ردحذفMan no offense, but why don't you just use a hollow effect and put she same sized text under 😕 I found it a lot faster and easier
